On behalf of Muslim American Society and my dedicated Convention team, I would like to extend a personal invitation to you and your family to attend the 15th Annual MAS Convention being held at the Westin LAX Hotel this thanksgiving holiday.
Each year we have the honored opportunity to host you, our distinguished guest, to experience a joyous and spiritually filled occasion with your family and friends. This is a convention for everyone, from young to old, from African American to Afghani to Indian to Pakistani to Arab to all Muslims. We want to grow this community experience and we hope you will be a part of it.
This year’s theme is about bolstering the unity of our Ummah, you and I and every Muslim universally. At a time when the Muslim Ummah is facing many challenges, this is the time more than ever to be united as one community to face our challenges together. It is vital we deepen the respective brotherhood and sisterhood bonds and to strike a deeper understanding and appreciation of each other in order to build that strength. From our unity, we will be more empowered to work together as one unit on our common cause of seeking Allah’s pleasure through promoting justice for all, contributing goodness to society and upholding our Islamic values.
I invite you to join me on a spiritual and family fun-filled journey this Thanksgiving weekend.
I hope to see you there insha’Allah!
Adeeb Arafeh, Muslim American Society Greater Los Angeles Convention Chairman
