Boys Scout Leaders & Girls Scout Leaders

Both of these basic scouting trainings are open for any Muslim adult who are interested in volunteering and helping to establish MAS Scouting programs in their communities. MAS Scouts troops are officially linked with the Boy Scouts of America or Girl Scouts USA. This training is not a substitute for the training that is required by the Boy Scouts of America or Girl Scouts USA.

Key Scouting Training Objectives

• Promote the idea of scouting in the Muslim Community (why scouting?)

• Introduce MSD Vision, Methodology (why scouting with MAS?)

• Address the Facts, Myths and Misconceptions about scouting in USA

• Give a General Introduction on Boy Scouting and Girl Scouting

• How to start and maintain a successful scouting program in your city?

• Conduct an administrative meeting with volunteers to discus the city/chapter specifics
